Eifelland caravan windows

Founded in 1962 in the Eifel town of Mayen, near Koblenz, where transport operator Gunther Hennerici builds the first caravans with three of his drivers. In 1967, however, in a real factory with 1200 pieces per year. Due to Hennerici's money-devouring hobby (formula 1) and the stagnating market, the company is sold in 1972 to window manufacturer Meeth.

He builds Eifellands for another year, after which Knaus takes over the brand and the materials and uses the name Eifelland in its series until 1983, mainly for the Dutch market. In early 1993, Knaus started building caravans under the Eifelland brand name in its factory in Hungary especially for the Dutch market. The introduction on the German market follows in 1996. When mother Knaus-Tabbert was restarted in 2009, it no longer had the Eifelland brand name. That is why the Weinsberg brand name is taken off as an entry-level brand by the parent company.
