Lunar caravan windows

The boss of Knowsley caravans notices in 1969 that two of his employees are planning to become self-employed. He then decides to fire these employees, Brian Talbot and Ken Wilcox. As a brand name, Messrs Talbot and Wilcox have chosen Lunar, based on the Lunar Space program of that year.

The start, so earlier than planned, takes place in a shed without electricity. At the end of the eighties, the production of motor homes was also started, while mobile homes were also made for two years.
From 1991 until the bankruptcy in 2007, Lunar is part of the Tirus Group. In that period Lunar also sells Chateau caravans and some of the Lunar campers come from the HomeCar factory in Lommel. A management buy-out on November 28, 2007 means that they can continue independently. In February 2012, Lunar introduced a new brand at the London stock exchange: Venus. These are affordable lightweight caravans for a different target group than Lunar.
